How we came to be

At the heart of Concrete lies the story of two childhood friends, Kendra Thomas and Claire Harley, whose shared love for skating and snowboarding transcended their individual experiences. One, a lifelong skateboarder, and the other, a devoted snowboard enthusiast. These two friends embarked on a journey to merge their passions and create a brand that would redefine the world of action sports. Born out of the friendship forged on the streets and slopes, Concrete is more than just a brand; it's a celebration of unity, diversity, and the thrill of pushing boundaries. Both Kendra and Claire came together to blend the best of both worlds. They wanted to form a brand where anyone could begin skating or snowboarding without feeling scared or out of place.

We are a Community

Kendra and Claire invite you to join the Concrete family—a community that honors the past, embraces the present, and fearlessly rides into the future. Through Concrete, they hope to inspire the next generation of riders to pursue their passions, forge lasting connections, and, above all, have a damn good time on the board.

Welcome to Concrete—where the spirit of friendship, the rush of the ride, and the joy of community redefine what it means to roll and ride.

Future goals

1. Achieve Carbon Neutrality: Concrete is committed to minimizing its environmental impact. By 2025, the goal is to achieve carbon neutrality throughout the entire production and distribution process. This involves investing in renewable energy sources, reducing waste, and offsetting any remaining emissions through eco-friendly initiatives.

2. Become B-Corp Certified: Concrete is on a mission to solidify its commitment to social and environmental responsibility by obtaining B Corp Certification. By 2025, the brand aspires to meet the rigorous standards set by B Lab, showcasing its dedication to transparency, ethical business practices, and positive societal impact.

Future goals

3. Expand Inclusivity Programs: Concrete aims to expand its inclusivity initiatives by providing greater access and opportunities to underrepresented groups in the skateboarding and snowboarding communities. This includes developing partnerships,  and events that promote diversity and inclusion.

4. Launch Sustainable Product Lines: Building on its commitment to sustainability, Concrete plans to introduce new product lines featuring innovative and eco-friendly materials. The goal is to offer a range of sustainable skateboards, snowboards, and related gear, providing customers with environmentally conscious options without compromising on quality or performance.
